From the hard beginning of this band is Žántí the main singer. Along its producing the band signed contract with MEDIATACK, whereas this cooperation was very short - no beginning, no end. This band cut some music videos which are possible to watch on TV Óčko or on ČT2 in the programme Velká noční hudba. Matahari has won several awards like the first places in Broumovská kytara 2005 (from fans and the jury), then they were in semi-finale in Nová krev 2006 or in Múza 2006. In the year 2003 they have taken part in Represent Tour of the band Lety mimo, in the year 2007 supported before the concert of the band Krucipüsk throught the April Ahoj tour, then american Dog Eat Dog, german H-Blockxs, Jana Kratochvílová or the band Harmful, whose member is Billy Gould from the band Faith No More.
