Micoland aka Mick Mico Schofield is a record producer, DJ and visual artist from Leeds, UK. He makes experimental electronic music and Techno influenced by Hip Hop, Dubstep, Dancehall, Grime and Dub. He also writes soundtracks and Ambient music under the name Conflux. He has supported the likes of Milanese, Luke Vibert, King Cannibal, Ebola, Kanji Kinetic, Raffertie and Kid606. Mick is part of several collaborative projects including Urban Exploration and Wobble N Dubb. He was a resident at Leeds club night Gonzo for six years. Schofield (Micoland) expertly crafts interesting timbres and spits them from a marvelously clean mix the way a lovechild of Squarepusher and Scientist might.... tilting basslines, relentlessly intelligent beats.
