Choi Min-ho (Korean: 최민호; born December 9, 1991), mononymously known as MINHO (Korean: 민호), is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, actor, dancer, model, and television host. He is most well-known as the main rapper and visual of contemporary group SHINee, who debuted in May 2008. MINHO also participated in SM Entertainment's dance-centered project group S.M. The Performance in 2012. MINHO made his acting debut in November 2010 in the one-episode KBS2 drama special, entitled Pianist. In 2016 he debuted on the big screen with his role in the film Canola. MINHO released his SM STATION single, I'm Home on March 28, 2019, marking his first music release as a soloist. The single was released after MINHO previewed it on his first fan meeting tour Best Choi's MINHO, visiting 4 different cities throughout 5 dates, spreading through February and March of 2019. After completing his mandatory military service in November 2020, MINHO resumed his activities as a soloist and member of SHINee in 2021, releasing his debut solo digital single Heartbreak on December 21, the same day as his second fan meeting concert Best Choi's MINHO 2021, which was broadcasted online. MINHO performed the song at the SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @KWANGYA New Year's Eve online concert, as well as a special stage on MCountdown on January 13, 2022.
