Mithoon Sharma (born Jan 11, 1986) is an Indian Bollywood film music composer and singer. He is the son of Naresh Sharma who has scored background music for more than 200 movies. He has just entered his twenties, making him seem to be nothing more than a college going guy, yet his music is rocking Bollywood like anything. Mithoon Sharma is one of the current crop of young generation of Bollywood, who are riding the crests of new found creativity in planet Bollywood. Mithoon started out in the Bhatt camp when he was doing the work of incorporating Pakistani music into Indian films. His work on ‘Woh lamhe’ in Zeher had the nation in a frenzy. The song became one of the most popular chartbuster of its times, powered by the awesome lyrics. And when he worked as a guest composer on Bas Ek Pal, and Anwar, there was no looking back for the kiddo.The music recieved appreciation from all places. The song ‘tere bin’ which he had recorded with Atif Aslam while working on an album with Tips was an unconventional judaai song which touched everyone’s hearts. In fact after Mithoon suggested Onir, the director of the movie Bas Ek Pal, that they should use this song, he was so determined to do so, that he left no stone unturned to get the copyrights of this song from Tips.
