Mittageisen

Mittageisen was a post-punk band from Switzerland. Further members were Daniel S (Guitar), Markus Sch (Guitar, Voice), Ursula S (Bass), Manuela H (Synthesizer), Markus St (Bass). Besides various concerts - also with other bands like Liliput, Blue China, The Vyllies and Propaganda. Mittageisen became one of the most shaped Swiss-Wave bands, especially through the release of their first self-titled album in 1983. After some personnel changes in 1985 mittageisen released the 12 automaten and got excellent reviews again. Record of the week on various radio- stations and in music-magazines! After last recording sessions in 1986 the band split up. On the second edition he worked together with Marco Repetto, a member of the famous NDW-band Grauzone, Techno and Ambient DJ, musician and producer. A musical impression of the years 1981 to 1986 is - in the form of a compilation 2CD with 19 remastered (incl. 6 previously unreleased) tracks - still available.
