Mummerah


Mummerah consists of Dick Lissenburg- Dj-Ohmega(1977) and Frank Louw-Mad Contrabender(1975). They were born in the Netherlands and currently live in Emmen. Frank has been active in both the Dutch and German scene for a very long time and started the act years ago with Michiel Thole. In the summer of 2006 Michiel stoped all musical activities while Ohmega joined the team and since about a year or two they are seriously working on improving our sounds and skills. Their style can be described as groovy minimal progressive. Their personal musical interests lie in the electronic psy and progressive styles. They used to listen to stuff like Orchestral Manouvres in the Dark, Jean Michelle Jarre, FSOL, Art of Noise, Kraftwerk, and any old acid house. Nowadays they check out any released material in the scene. We use both soft and hardware to create their music. They get inspired by practicly anything like the simple things of life like being proud parents and having nice people around us who support us all the way. Read more on Last.fm.
