Nitrogen


There have been multiple artists who have recorded under the name Nitrogen: 1) Hardcore Gabber from the Ruffex label. Nitrogen was the name used by Arno Schoutrop when working together with Stephan Scheltema. Usually Arno teamed up with Patrick van Kerckhoven and used the aliases Myrmidon and Lunalotic. Strangley enough S. Scheltema also used the name Nitrogen for a track he did on his own (one track of the Ruffex 8, namely Bad Bwoy). 2) Nitrogen was a project of Richard H. Kirk (1956 - 2021), one of the three founding members of Cabaret Voltaire. This alias was used for one release, the 1997 double album Intoxica. Kirk was a very prolific electronic producer who released albums under several aliases: Sandoz, Electronic Eye, Sweet Excorcist, Dark Magus, Al Jabr & Blacworld to name a few.
