Oblivious


There are three bands named Oblivious 1) Stoner rock band from Linkoping, Sweden ~ Contact: Facebook Purchase: Bandcamp, TransubstansRecords, Gaphals Records. Melodic stoner rock with a touch of classic rock n’ roll based in the 70’s. Influences include such great bands as Dozer, Kyuss and Clutch, as well as older heroes like Black Sabbath, Pentagram and Led Zeppelin. UPDATE April 2015: Heavy rock and strong melodies have always been the characteristics for Oblivious. With a changed lineup, a new studio and a new label the band have blossomed and found new confidence. With their already strong and compelling groove the band have focused on building stronger choruses and developing vocal harmonies in Studio Underjorden, a studio that previously recorded bands as Year of the goat, Night and Vanhelgd. The biggest change can be found in going from two to one guitarist, bringing forward a more crisp and classic guitar sound, giving more space for the primal groove and the wilderness in the songs. Oblivious new album Out Of Wilderness is released by Gaphals. The two previous records Goons and Masters (2010) and Creating Meaning (2013) was released on Transubstans Records. The band have frequently toured Europe and done multiple gigs all over Sweden. The band set focus on new goals. Forward, out of wilderness and into the future...
