Oskoreien
Oskoreien is a black metal band with neofolk and classical elements led by Jay M. Valena. Lyrical themes include Taoism, nihilism, mythology, and society. The debut album was released in January 2011 and can be downloaded for free at www.Oskoreien.com. Oskoreien additionally contributed a song entitled Ode to Arinbjorn to Pest Productions' 2010 various artists compilation “Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer, alongside artists such as Agalloch and October Falls. In European folk mythology, the Oskoreien are a phantasmal horde of dead souls who roam the land, often portrayed as being led by Odin, the Norse god of poetry and war. Read more on Last.fm.
