Otyken


Otyken is an indigenous folk pop band from Siberia, Russia, founded in 2015 by Andrey Medonos in Krasnoyarsk. The combination of traditional musical instruments and modern arrangement, overtone singing, special vocals and the charming sounds of khomus. Sometimes, they make their own instruments, like new drums (barrels). Otyken's music and it's members are focused on introducing people to the Siberian culture, both its beauty and its difficulties, while still pursuing their passion. They sing their songs in different languages; Russian, Khakas and Chulyms. The Otyken has triumphed in different international festivals and has an enormous amount of fans all over the world.
