There are at least four bands of this name. - 1. Icelandic laptop duo Plat consists of Arnar Helgi Adalsteinsson and Vilhjálmur Pálsson. They produce harmonic ambient landscapes rich on well arranged errors, glitches, clicks and acoustic samples. They both play other instruments too (Arnar drums and Vilhjálmur guitar or bass) with several Icelandic groups of various genres. Their debut album Compulsion was released in 2005 on Unschooled Records. - 2. Plat is a Dutch group that plays a mix between blues, rock and hoempapa music in a Dutch dialect called Gronings. They have recorded between 1989 6 CD's and 4 Singles. Also they've created 3 videoclips. The band consists the following members: Teo de Haan - zang, Follie de Vries - gitaar, Hans van Lier - gitaar, Fenno de Boer - bas, Harrie Haze - drums - 3.
