Possum

There are at least four bands that go by the name of Possum. The first is an active indie-pop band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, by Bryn and Brie and Eric. Their two releases to date are their self-titled E.P. (available for free on their Bandcamp: http://possumisourname.bandcamp.com/) and a contribution to Blackburn Recordings' Various Deficiencies Vol. 1 compilation. Someday they will release a full-length record entitled Lovehandles. The second is an obscure country rock band from the early 70s featuring Jim Baker (guitar/vocals), Ron Weddle (guitar/vocals), Tom Dewey (guitar/vocals) and Richard Miller (bass/vocals) they were joined by Ron Tutt (drums) and Red Rhodes (pedal steel). the album also features Ry Cooder on “Mr. Money” and “That Was Then”. The third is a Trash-loving queer folk punk trio from Brooklyn, New York. For fans of Pat the Bunny, Days N Daze, and chugging Lime-a-Ritas in alleys. https://www.facebook.com/PossumBK & https://possumbk.bandcamp.com/album/acoustic-demos The fourth is a British sadpunk band from Leeds in the United Kingdom, featuring Adam Crockett on guitar and vocals, Reece Allen on bass and Andrew Horn on drums. https://possumband.bandcamp.com/ Read more on Last.fm.
