There are two bands using the name Projektor: 1) Originally formed by vocalist/bassist Jahmeel Russell and Chris Harder in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1999, Projektor consists of Darren Achorn on drums, Jeremy Gillespie on guitar/keyboards, and Johnny Stewart (formerly The Black Halos ) joining in 2005 on guitar. Other members have included Dustin Leader and Sean Stevens (of Novillero). Projektor was selected as one of the top 5 “Up and Coming Canadian” new artists by What! Magazine and chosen as finalists in CBC radio’s “Big Break” contest. Projektor toured Canada several times, including dates with Eric's Trip, Moneen, Radiogram, and The Waking Eyes and were a regular fixture at Canadian Music Week, Western Canadian Music Week, New Music West and The Halifax Pop Explosion. The band worked with Juno-winner and Grammy nominated producer, Brandon Friesen on both their full-length outings. In early 2006, the band dissolved. A post-mortem EP, ATLANTIC TIRED SOUTH, composed of songs intended for the never finished third album along with a pair of covers, was released in 2007. https://projektor.bandcamp.com/music 2) Zespół Projektor (Miuosh i Puq) powstał w 2002 r.
