Puregska (the name is a compilation of punk, reggae and ska) is a local band in Groningen, the Netherlands. The group is formed by bass-guitarist/vocalist Halewijn Drent, vocalist Arnout van Heereveld, guitarist Bart van Nunen and drummer Eric Jansen. The group started playing in the summer of 2007, with Drent, Van Heereveld and Van Nunen, so without drums and only one guitar. About a half year later the group consisted five members, Marinke Kerkhoff (rhythim guitar) and Jansen joined the band, and the band started playing their first gigs. More songs were created and the band got better, and they played (and recorded) at the Willem Lodewijk in Groningen, the Netherlands. Some later Kerkhoff left the band.
