Daniel Patrick Lohner (born December 13, 1970 in Corpus Christi, Texas), most commonly known as Danny Lohner is an industrial musician who plays bass guitar, guitar and keyboards. He has worked with Trent Reznor on numerous occasions, both with Nine Inch Nails and on the defunct Tapeworm project. He has also played for Killing Joke, Methods of Mayhem and in the past was one of the founding members of the now defunct industrial-thrash outlet Skrew as well as one of the members of the Texas thrash metal band Angkor Wat. He also was featured on Marilyn Manson's breakthrough album Antichrist Superstar, as did most of Nine Inch Nails due to Trent Reznor's relationship with Manson, acting as his mentor in the world of music. Lohner can be heard playing the acoustic guitar on the track The Reflecting God. Additionally, he does remixes for various artists under the pseudonym Renholdër (re:d.lohner backwards) such as the song of the same title featured on A Perfect Circle's debut album Mer de Noms. He has appeared in all of A Perfect Circle's albums to date in one form or another, and has also appeared on stage with them. He is currently a studio member of Puscifer, helping with engineering and filling in for instruments and vocals as necessary.
