Reveille


Reveille is a name used by at least 4 groups: 1) Reveille were a rapcore band from from Harvard, Chelmsford, and Shirley, Massachusetts, USA. They were formed in 1998, and released their debut album, Laced, in 1999, on Elektra Records. The album featured a guest appearance by Cypress Hill rapper B-Real. The band played Woodstock 1999 and Ozzfest 2000, and toured with Godsmack, Machine Head, and Powerman 5000. In 2001, they released their follow-up album, Bleed The Sky. The album featured appearances from Taproot singer Stephen Richards and Cold singer Scooter Ward; the collaboration for which Reveille achieved Billboard success with their song Inside Out (Can You Feel Me Now). Also in 2001 the group received the Boston Music Award for Rising Star and then embarked on a tour with Static-X. The following year Bleed the Sky was nominated for Boston Music Award's Album of the Year. In 2002, original guitarist Greg Sullivan left Reveille, and was replaced by Chris Turner. Unfortunately, Reveille broke up in 2003, before they could finish their third album. Sullivan and lead singer Simollardes later formed Genuflect. 2) Reveille a french band comprised of Lisa Duroux and Francois Virot (of Clara Clara). They just released an LP called Time and Death. 3) Reveille was a barbershop quartet who competed in the 2003/2004/2006 Barbershop Quartet competition. 4) Reveille an indie/acoustic band from Grimsby, UK.
