Romeo


There are several artists called Romeo. 1. Romeo is a stage name for South Korean entertainer Park Jung Min (박정민) from boyband SS501. Romeo is his Japanese stage name; his debut full Japanese album is called Midnight Theatre which debuted on December 19th 2012. Jung Min and Jeff Miyahara, a Japanese producer who has produced numerous artists in Japan, had planned the ROMEO concept since late 2011, which eventually debuted in 2012. The idea of the concept arise from the fact that as a singer, people consider Jung Min as an idol, and because of this he couldn’t get to express himself fully through his music, that’s why ROMEO exists. ROMEO is the person who is another intelligent life of Park Jung Min’s sub consciousness. If Jung Min is usually sunny and friendly, ‘Romeo’ is chic and powerful and charismatic. Jung Min treated ROMEO as a different person on stage, he also explained that Romeo is the person who can’t smile and love because of no heart or stopped heart, or he is not the person but the other being (which he was referred as a vampire from his previous releases.)
