The current grouping is the seventh composition of the Ruxe-Ruxe group. With Javier Abreu at the head, the group’s production navigates better than ever the oceans between punk rock and traditional Galician music and they provide a taste of a story, a magical realism of the world view seen from the paths of the village in Compostela Arines. They are a bridge between the 90’s Galician rock and the pop music of the first decade of the 21’st century. Many consider them a cult band, but with the best and most direct energy you can see on a stage. This unique band that has never stopped producing, recording and playing around the world since its founding in 1996.They have been told that they are from the soil like earthworms. They are from Arines, but are for the world. Ruxe-Ruxe have earned the merit to be one of the greatest Galician musicians and have defined a chapter in the history of Galician music by keeping Galician music alive and vibrant.
