Ryohu


Ryohu (呂布; real name Ryohei Nakayama, 中山亮平, born April 5, 1990) is a Japanese rapper and track maker from Setagaya, Tokyo, and a member of both KANDYTOWN and the group Aun beatz. He began making music in his teens, playing in the rock band Zuttozureteruzu (ズットズレテルズ) alongside members of OKAMOTO'S and fellow KANDYTOWN member YUSHI. He launched his solo career in earnest in 2017, releasing the EP Blur, followed by the mixtape Twenty in 2018. In 2020 he released his first studio album, DEBUT, on Victor/SPEEDSTAR RECORDS, featuring "The Moment," which was used in an App Store commercial. His second solo album, Circus, followed in 2022, supported by a tour that closed at Tokyo's LIQUIDROOM. Ryohu has also appeared as a featured artist on releases by Base Ball Bear, Suchmos, OKAMOTO'S, and he also collaborated with the japanese pop idol group tengal6 (pre-lyrical school).
