S1r


S1R was a Dutch industrial metalband that existed from early 2005 until late 2007. S1R(pronounce as 'sir) was founded in 2005 by S1rSand3rs. After a couple of attempts with different bands he decided to start his own band. He wanted to build up a rock band which has a message, makes good music and has a show that can overwhelm a crowd completely. The reason for S1rSand3rs to start S1R was because he feels there are many things in this world that are not right and that they should be addressed in a proper way, informing people and entertaining people. Such topics include politics, Christianity and personal experiences or feelings. These topics and others are covered in his lyrics in which he states his position. S1R has different influences but would describe their style as industrial metal. The industrial part is mostly because of the addition of a keyboard. Thanks to powerful drums and guitars the band moves more into a metal direction. The vocals add up to the music making it a powerful and dark show altogether. Read more on Last.fm.
