Saluki was formed in 1976 in Oslo, Norway. Their style was jazz rock with Brass sections and some funky guitar bass lines. They released only one self titled album in 1976. They then disbanded after the release of this album. Also a bootleg entitled Be Here Now also exists which was apparently released around 1977. The Guitarist/Vocalist Freddy Dahl was better known as a member of Junipher Greene and also Sverre Beyer was also a member of junipher Greene as from 1974 onwards. Members: Freddy Dahl (vocals, guitar), Peter Berg Nilsen (vocals, saxophone), Kjell Rønningen (keyboards), Sverre Beyer (bass), Bjørn Jenssen (drums). Read more on Last.fm.
