Scrap.edx
Emerging from the toxic gutters and war torn concrete jungles of suburban Connecticut, USA, Scrap.edx (Scrape[dx]) perpetuates dark-electronic music of innovation, intelligence, aggression and political and social satire. Considered to be a part of the 2nd generation of electronic acts currently producing industrialized music in the rhythmic noise scene, Scrap.edx (a nonexistent word constructed purely to reflect the synthetic nature of its music) originally started with experimentation with synthesizers and software during college in 1999. Their music can only be described as a cranial rush of energy. Mixing together elements of breakcore, rhythmic noise, IDM, industrial dance, dark-ambient and hardcore techno with embedded sample work, Scrap.edx is a creative force on the cutting edge of underground electronic music.
