Gothic Rock

The band SIELA was formed in the beginning of 1990 and since that time they’ve released 9 albums. The works “Beyond the field of vision” 1994, “Exile” 1997 are well known in European gothic scene. The band was interviewed/reviewed in many gothic fanzines and the songs of SIELA were included into many various compilation, etc. ( Latests compilation CD‘s: collection of eastern Europe‘s most promising bands „Dark East“ 2004 Poland (Big blue rec.) and „GOTH“ is what you make it [three] 2004 Germany ( Batbeliever/ Indigo) The songs of the band sound in Lithuanian TOP - 20, Radio and TV. SIELA had a lot of gigs in Lithuania and abroad, festivals like “ Wave Gothic Treffen - 5” 1996 (Germany); „II Night of mysterious“ 1996 (Germany); “Bizzare – 2“ 1997 (Germany); “Forte Riga 2000” (Latvia); “Castle party 2001” (Poland); ”Kunigunda Lunaria 2002 -2003” and “Menuo juodaragis 2001- 2002– 2003” (Lithuania); „Wave Gothic Treffen - 13“ 2004 (Germany) and etc. Now SIELA is working on a new program and material for the new CD. New song „The Crow“ from forthcoming album are dedicated to Brandon Lee. Our songs are sung in English –Lithuanian languages; it gives a chance to balance between the east and west without loosing our originality.
