Solardip


solardip is an electro/indie band, based in Istanbul, comprising of Emir Arkman, Duygu Aba and Yigit Gurcihan. Having released the 1st EP 'Dip Inside' in August 2009, the band has appeared on many blogs and websites, having been broadcasted by well-known Turkish radio stations. Then they have begun to stage their music, influenced by French Electro, Indie, Synth-Pop and Nu-Disco, along with impressive visuals. In a short time, the band invaded the audience: 'Dip Inside EP' was downloaded legally by more than 10.000 unique users. The band has become more well-known and been lauded by press & media after the 2nd EP 'Diply In Love', released in April 2010. Soon recognized as one of Istanbul's most favored Electro-Indie bands, solardip has given concerts in renowned venues in Turkey & abroad -such as Dogzstar, Peyote, Indigo and played in such events like Spirit Of Burgas (UNKLE, The Prodigy, DJ Shadow...) Dip Inside & Diply In Love can be downloaded for free from the official website. Instead of covering popular synth-pop and electro songs at stage, the band prefers to perform their own songs. Some of the songs from the recent EPs' were remixed by renowned local DJs and bands. During the production process of the new EP, which is a solardip attitude towards the albums scheduled in long-term, the band is also planning to release a remix collection album, including remixes and remakes of the songs in 'Diply In Love'. solardip is a member of collective which is a noncommer...
