There are two bands with the name Soliptic: 1. A Russian doom metal/alternative metal band. 2. uk goa trance producer. 1. Formed approximately at 1998 (Saratov, Russia), Soliptic originally played some mixture of Doom-Gothic metal with growling and female vocals similiar to My Dying Bride etc. First full album Handful of Emptiness belongs to that stylistic. Second mini album Atura is somewhat experimental and ambient and is a result of musician's interest to light narcotics. Since third album group play nu-metal with alternative elements.
