There is more than one artist with this name: 1. Stilettos is a girlband from Denmark. 2. A Utrecht based 3-piece Garage Rock band. 3. A French Power Pop/Rock group formed in 1977 and disbanded in 1984. 2. A writer on architecture, a war veteran and an employee of the department of Justice. Throw The Stooges, The Ramones and The Rolling Stones in a pressure cooker. Add one square metre of beer, 10 euros worth of weed and a pornomag. Leave on the stove for a few teenage years, within the Dutch countryside. Check the supplies of beer and weed once in a while. Add a few cadavers. Increase the heat till the lid shoots off. Co-founded by José Ruiz and Dominique Nougaro, Stilettos released their first 45, "Johnny Weissmuller / Modern Boy" in 1978 with Thierry Derigon on drums. They released their only album, Les dix plus grands succès des Stilettos in 1980 on the label CBS. They disbanded in 1984. In 1991 and in 2004, Stilettos reformed for a single concert.
