Taciturne
Cult electronic music producer from Hamburg. During the years 1995-1996 Taciturne published some seminal vinyl releases on Fischkopf, a leading publisher of bleeding-edge gabber and speedcore. While his musical output was somewhat limited by the strict boundaries of 8-bit amiga sequencing, he nevertheless gained recognition with a fistful of perversely brutal gabber-hymns, most prominently Der Toten, a blood-freezing masterpiece of mental darkness which was featured on countless rave-compilations. 1998 saw the release of his opus magnum, the double-12 Ebizeme, released on Blut records. Taciturne reportedly commited suicide in his Paris appartment in June 1999, wich put a premature end to his artistic career. Read more on Last.fm.
