Born in 1977, I began writing poetry and song lyrics at the age of 14 (in 1991), working with musicians known to me for a few years before finally taking up the guitar in 1998. Since then I have also learnt bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, mandola, ukelele, harmonica and drums, all to varying degrees. In 2001 I formed a band - Elengenesse - but we only recorded 1 song together before splittling up. I then decided to record solo, having already written hundreds of songs. I self funded and recorded my first album, Married To The Music in 2001 at a local studio (Beliefspace) and used the same studio to record This Is Life in 2002, Joseph's Bones: A Soundtrack Of Renewed Hope in 2003 and Twisted in 2006. My new album, Where We Live was recorded at April Media Studios at the end of 2011. Where We Live contains songs about life, love, landmarks and owning a dog! Throughout the last 9 or so years I have played acoustic guitar, bass guitar and electric guitar in 4 different church bands, in 3 different churches. From 2009 to early 2011 I was the bass player in the local T-Rex tribute band, Revolution (now defunct). Read more on Last.fm.
