TORBA is the NOISE solo project of Mauro Diciocia, an italian soundmaker based in Berlin, Germany more than 10 years ago. His sound is a gloomy collage made of tape cut-ups, hums and crackings, walls of noise, audible insalubrity, odd found-sounds and any kind of crusty textures. To record his works with modulating waves from hacked radios, number station loops and contact mics. Mixture of styles such as: Field Recording, Noise, Experimental, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise Wall... and all toghether give as a result an excellent example of the called AMBIENT NOISE WALL. An strange combination between the petrified Wall of Noise and the soft Ambient. His musical career began in 2008 and since then he has recorded 20 albums and 2 ep´s, mostly of this stuff split with anothers NOISE projects such as:Vomr, Nube, Emme, Playing With Nuns, Zebra Mu, Raven, Problem Anderer Leute, William Bonin, Dotåbåtå, Ekunhaashaastaack , etc...
