Wahu


Wahu Kagwi (born c. 1980), performing under the name Wahu, is a musician from Kenya. Wahu is a former model and University of Nairobi student, graduating in mathematics. She started her musical career in 2000. Her first three singles were Niangalie, Esha and Liar. Wahu released her first major hit, Sitishiki around 2005. Her music has been produced by the Ogopa DJ's. She is married to Nameless, another award-winning Kenyan musician. They have a daughter, to whom she dedicated her biggest hit to date Sweet Love. Wahu was named the Best Female Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2008. She has also been nominated at the MOBO and KORA Awards in 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
