Yellow


There's more than just one band with the same name Yellow. 1. Yellow were a Japanese experimental rock group founded in 1971 by Taisuke Morishita. The group played their first gig at Aquirax Aida's Jiyu Kukan festival in Niigata in April 1972. Following a hitchhiking trip to California in 1974, Morshita decides to change the group's name to Be. Members: Hiroshi Imaizumi, Hiroyuki Takahashi, Taisuke Morishita (from Wikipedia) Yellow had no released output while they were active. Some live recordings appeared several years later, in Dead Flower's Underground Tracks 70’s compilation. 2. English heavy psych band that had a single out on CBS in the late 60s and went on to enjoy other releases. They regrouped after two splits and laid down some demos at Impulse studios in Newcastle and then at Multicord studios in Sunderland in 1971. A quickly formed Abreaction record label released The Hobo song alongside Daylight Child by LUCAS TYSON. 3. A Finnish rock band. 4. Yellow is also a rock band from Georgia, glumenbaxis Tavqve, 5. Rock from Canada. in 2003 they recorded their debut EP the heat'll be in the grooves, right? with Charles Austin, at Ultramagnetic Studios in Halifax NS. the final lineup of the band consisted of four members; alicia penney, lachie macdonald, glenn barrington, and zach maclean. 6.
