Loona

Ha Soo Young (하수영), better known by her stage name, Yves (이브), is the ninth member of South Korean K-Pop girl group LOONA, as well as the leader of the LOONA subunit LOONA/yyxy. Yves was born on May 24th, 1997, in Busan, South Korea. Ever since she was young, she had dreamt of becoming a singer. In high school, Yves was on a dance team, however she hid it from her disapproving mother, eventually revealing it to her in Grade 11. Before debuting, Yves trained for 3 weeks, having one of the shortest training period out of the members. On November 13th, 2017, Yves was revealed to be the ninth member of LOONA. The teaser for the title track of Yves' solo mini-album was posted on November 23rd. 4 days after the Teaser was posted, the mini-album was released along with Yves' solo mini-album. As well as this, Yves also took part in The Carol 2.0, released on December 13th, 2017. Yves also appears in the music video for Chuu’s solo song Heart Attack, as Chuu’s main interest. She is also featured in Girl’s Talk, the B-side for Chuu’s solo mini-album, which was released on December 28th, 2017. Yves would also debut as a member and the leader of the subunit LOONA/yyxy, with love4eva, which serves as the title track for the subunit’s mini-album beauty&thebeat, released on May 30th, 2018.
