A long time ago in a commuter town far away 2 best mates, K-rad and Captain Spacekase formed a band called the Ziphedz. Although the band played gigs + recorded material they were unable to find the right members to complete the line-up. In June 2012 (15 odd musicians later), they met Krayze and Stern, 2 rappers based in Ashford. A month later Animal joined them on drums + the band were complete. Also helped out by a live DJ and percussionist the band combine a complex helping of drum n bass, dubstep, hip hop, grunge + electronica, similar to the likes of Chase n Status, Pendulum, Prodigy + Skindred to name a few. Combining scorching guitars, driving bass lines, catchy hooks, pulsating drum beats + mind blowing lyrics. The band have a wide array of tracks spanning all genres + have a live set up that provides energy + entertainment. The band is self-produced + recorded by guitarist and singer Captain Spacekase in his home studio the Spacekave + the band are hoping to achieve big tings.
