AMES (born Amy Kathryn Kuney, August 6th, 1985) is a singer-songwriter hailing from Oklahoma, via Honduras, now residing in Los Angeles. She grew up playing piano and singing in church, starting at age four. Though her songs are built on a folk pop foundation, her lyrics lean left of center...expressing feelings of repression, religion & sexuality. As a lyricist, Ames has penned songs for the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Akon, Tori Kelly, Adam Lambert and Icona Pop. Now focusing on her own artistry, she plans to release her EP in January 2019.
