fago.sepia — it doesn't mean anything. It is just two words separated by a point and four musicians trying to make music they like by mixing all that they could hear up to that point; the whole containing guitars, bass and battery. The band is from Condate, France, and they play an instrumental variation of post-rock/math rock. A jazzy influence brings the formality down a few notches. For a French band, Fago.Sepia’s sound isn’t extremely new, but most of their influences fall within the very tight French circle of bands like Chevreuil, Milgram, and Sincabeza. Their most notable releases are the L’âme Sûre Ruse Mal EP, and a full-length, The Resume, which also contains previously released songs. Read more on Last.fm.
