Viktor Hallman is a Swedish composer and producer who is more commonly known by his musical alias and surname, Hallman. Growing up near Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden, it wasn’t until he played a friend’s piano at the age of 12 that he discovered an intuitive flair for music. After spending the next two years learning via online tutorials, Viktor began experimenting with the music software, FL Studio, subsequently using his instinctively musical ear to produce a number of trance tracks. Forklift driver by day, producer by night, Viktor has described how his work sometimes provides “inspiration from nowhere”. From minute melodic ideas frantically recorded on his phone, he experiments and builds comprehensive soft-house soundscapes such as the 2018 single All In My Head, which has over half a million plays on Spotify. In the same year, Viktor released the EPs Feeling Like and High On You, both featuring his distinctive fusion of soft house and trance. Read more on Last.fm.
