Pemsi was born in Lhasa, Capital of Tibet in 1984. grew up with his grandparent-in-law. At the age of 8, exiled to India. received education in TCV(Tibetan Children’s Villege)School in Dharamsala for 12years. He had been soaking himself in music since early time in his school. 2004, after graduation, he produced his Debut Album “REWA” (Hope). The song “Ama Jetsun Pema” dedicated to a sister of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, and the former principal of TCV became a big hit. His music style of Tibetan nostargic, patriotic melodies with Pop and R&B has got popularity especially in young generation of Tibet.
