安寿ミラ


安寿ミラ / Mira Anju*, born 30 March 1960, is a former otokoyaku (male role player) in Japan's famous all-women musical theatre company, Takarazuka (宝塚). She comes from Nagasaki and was the top star of the Flower Troupe (花組) from 30 November 1991 to 5 May 1995. During her time at Takarazuka, she was most known for her dancing ability, but was also considered a talented actress. She formed half of the legendary 'golden combi' ヤンミキ (Yanmiki) along with Miki Maya (真矢みき) and led the group that performed at the London Coliseum in 1994. In her post-Takarazuka career Mira Anju has been an actress, mostly on stage (everything from Shakespeare to Broadway/West End-style musicals), and a choreographer (under the name ANJU). For many years she performed in her own series of dance-oriented stage shows called FEMALE. The first of these ('Vol. 1') was held in 1997 and in 2020 she celebrated 40 years in show business with Vol. 15 of the series. In recent years she has turned towards singing chanson, mostly in the Japanese language. She released her first chanson album, “Belle Lune”, on 11 January 2022**.
