박효신


Park Hyo Shin (박효신, born 1 December 1981) is a South Korean singer. Park has a deep, husky voice and has been hailed by many as one of Korea's greatest singers. Park was educated at Kyung-hee University and majored in post-modern music. In November 1999, he debuted with Things I Cannot Do For You, followed up by Fool. The songs became hits. Later, Park actively performed in various events like participating in the musical Rock Hamlet, a tribute album for Deulgukhwa, That Only Is My World and a duet with Lee Sora on her 4th album. In January 2001, Park released his second album Second Story, in which top songwriters like Yoon Sang, Kim Jong-Rule and Yoo Hee-Leihu participated. Yet it was not until his 3rd album Time Honored Voice that Park Hyoshin scored his first No. 1 song with A Good Person. He scored another No. 1 hit with the title song Standing In That Place from his 4th album Soul Tree. Perhaps the most well-known song of Park is the theme song Snow Flower from the hit KBS drama I'm Sorry, I Love You in early 2005. In mid-2005, at the peak of remaking old songs, Park also released a remake album Neo-Classicism. The song Scattered Days made it to the top 5 in music charts. Park Hyo-shin was in hiatus in 2006 to prepare for his 5th album. It had been 3 years since he had released a full studio album. His 5th album was released in early 2007.
