The foundation of heera group started in 1979 by lead singer Bhupinder bhindi, Satwant tak, baldev gill and debbi, in that time they also did an album with Narinder biba, where bhindi laltonwala sung an duet album with the punjabi legend N.Biba, in the 80's this group gave the album patia botle ne, this song was a huge hit, which gave them alot of shows to do up and down the country Resham dhillon also got recognized as he only wrote for bhindi, later on J.kumar joined this group which was known as Quallander group later on it changed to Heera group, Soon after good friends great indian dancers requested bhindi to give their boliyan singer P Dhami a break in this well established group. So now together with music of C.S Ajhuja they gave album 'bhabi te nanaan nachdi'(1983), song pind de mundiya te became a poplular number, Soon after jaghwala mela(1985) was released and became a very big hit, after this unfortunatly the main man bhindi ended his career due to health problems. Heera group then gave diamonds from heera, and continued their success until yaara di yaari, where now Palvinder Dhami is a solo performer and is doing very well, in between all this Satwant tak also became a singer known as Raga kaka. Eventually kumar stole the show by singing a very big hit in bollywood 'teri meri ek jind' from the film bulandi. Bhindi returned back in the market as a songwriter in the 90's, and wrote for a number of artist in the u.k, and gave a hit with his old band heera group 'ter...
