Hailing from Hyogo, Japan, kegøn has emerged from the soundcloud (sankura) scene of Japan. Known for emotionally charged blends of genres such as digicore, trap and electronic influences, he has become an unstoppable force driven by his unique vocal style. Early in his career he collaborated frequently with former trashangels members lazydoll, Asstoro and okudakun. In February 2024 he dropped his debut project On the Edge, a fully self produced project that captured a wide sonic range. The album features appearances from LIL SOFT TENNIS, safmusic, lilbesh ramko and aforementioned artists Asstoro and lazydoll. The album launched kegøn into the public eye thanks to the standout track "Arakawa", featuring a music video directed by raven and kraken. Later that year he released Arakawa - illequal remix, offering a fresh and dynamic take on his track. Carrying this momentum, kegøn released Tesla, a supercharged track featuring korean artist Effie and one of China's hyperpop pioneers Billionhappy. The track's futuristic production accompanied by a music video directed by Takaaki KATSUMI showcased kegøn's ambitions for the East-Asian music scene. Recently, he has released the singles NEVER DIE YOUNG and TOXIC, hinting at a possible album release. Read more on Last.fm.
