Khaki


Khaki is a Japanese art rock band formed in Tokyo in 2018. Current members: Hiroto Nakashio - vocals and guitar Naoto Hirakawa - vocals and guitar Taichi Shimokobe - bass Takumi Hashimoto - drums Hiroki Kuroha - keyboards Formed in 2018 by members of an intercollegiate music circle of Waseda University, the band originally consisted of Nakashio, Hirakawa, Hashimoto, and their first bassist, who left in 2020. Kuroha, previously in a band with Nakashio and Hashimoto, joined as the new bassist before later switching to keyboard. Shimokobe, who had supported the band in live shows and recordings, officially joined in December 2022, thus concluding the current lineup. While most songwriting is done by guitarist/vocalists Nakashio and Hirakawa, all members contribute to composing and vocals. Some released tracks feature lyrics and vocals by other members.
