Reflux was a melodic, progressive metalcore group from Washington, D.C., that formed in March 2002. Their music centred around shredding, technical guitar work and highly political, socially-conscious lyrics. Their debut album, The Illusion of Democracy, was released in 2004. Since then, they have toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada, and have opened for bands such as Hatebreed, Dying Fetus, and Strapping Young Lad. They seem to have disbanded.
