Schattenschlag


There are two artists named Schattenschlag: 1) Schattenschlag is the project of Joachim Sobczak, former founder of Siechtum. The main idea was born a few years ago bearing in mind the making of pure electronic and versatile music. Schattenschlag features a mix of highly aggressive and almost psychotic strokes into its music, creating a perfect symbiosis between lyrics and imagery. All of this combined with a distorted perception of human being and social structures cause to obtain associations without restricting the one's thoughts. Its work for the E.P. Gefühlskalt began even before the publication of the first release Flashback in April 2001. After the first recording music at home in Castrop-Rauxel together with Oliver Müller (Megadump / Cyber Axis) quickly became clear that Gefühlskalt needed more than just a studio. Thus, the final mastering and the vocals were completed at MaoMusic Studios in Berlin. The aim now is searching for new and better challenges by conquering a clear position into the scene of electronic music.
