Anti-Venom


(For the Mexican artist, see Anti-Venöm) There is more than one artist named Anti-Venom, a Massachusetts hardcore band, New Zealand rock band and an English punk band: 1) Anti-Venom is a hardcore band from Marlborough, Massachusetts featuring members of Villain, Abomination and Streetsweeper. Their demo Too Sick to Save is available at http://antivenom.bandcamp.com for pay-what-you-will download. 2.) Anti-Venom is a hard rock band based in Auckland, New Zealand. Anti-Venom was formed at the beginning of 2008 by front-woman Pene Geard. She began writing songs for this new project and recruited a couple of West Auckland boys to the cause. Kieran Fox still backs things up on bass but following the great rock ‘n roll tradition, Anti-Venom have had some difficulties keeping a drummer for long. Despite this Anti-Venom doesn’t let it get them down, showing their lasting dedication to the music - once playing a show as a 2-piece, with Kieran jumping onto drums with only a week of preparation. Anti-Venom recently recorded with David Edtmaier at Miscreant Recordings and will be sharing the results with everyone very very soon... 3.) Anti-Venom was also a punk band based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. Their music was heavily influenced by the likes of Blondie, Pennywise and Sex Pistols.
