Chidori is a post-hardcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Overly Excited For Underwhelming Situations is an EP of pure post-hardcore nostalgia crafted by young homebodies Bryan Hampton & Caleb Trice. The two spent months writing and recording a majority of the EP's demos throughout 2017. After working out the finer details between hiatus's, the songs were finally complete by early 2021. Influenced by coming-of-age, break-ups, anxiety, & lack of sleep; Overly Excited For Underwhelming Situations brings a nostalgic charge of sincerity to our lives, a communal rhythm that has seemingly been lost. Now here and never too late, Chidori is found.
