All words been said about dutch singer/songwriter Jason de Laat, born and raised in Holland, the main figure behind 'Dishking' His own words: 'what kind of music? U tell me, even more so, if U like it, tell the whole world' On January 23 2009 DISHKING released the debut album The power of a loaded gun. It seemed inspired by the sound, that was developed during the 50’s in the Sun Studios in Memphis. From this Dishking wondered beyond what’s familiar and known for his kind of music being it americana, delta blues, indie rock or 'pop'music, this in a blended mix of Cash/Presley/Deville/ Cave/Gabriel and Bowie. DISHKING’s 2nd album called Sell yourself in Gold has been released early 2010, an in-depth album about his life & future endeavours. Of both albums 3 singles have been promoted on national radio namely Work this Thang Fall on Me and Backdoor Loverman A third album to finish the triptych, will be distributed online and worlwide early 2014.
