Mondial


There are two bands with this name... 1) Mondial is a Romanian band of rock , founded in 1966 in Bucharest . Is among the first groups in Romania that makes the transition from the music beat to more elaborate ways of rock ( psychedelic, hard rock , even progressive in a later stage). Mondial existed until the end of 70's. Over the years, changes that have occurred very often, so that to reconstruct the exact history of the band is an almost impossible task (not contradict existing materials a few times, former members remember wrong points in time). Mondial band went through two distinct phases of creation, success was achieved shortly after its creation, after several years of resounding success in the country when it publishes a number of discs and abroad (1967-1971) followed a period of penumbra installed progressively since 1972 until 1979, diversified style to new directions, and the band structure becomes increasingly unstable. The public memory remained the most well established parts of the first period: Romance without echo (also known by her first verse, Love, porcelain trinket), Spring, So young and others. 2) An indie-pop male/female duo from Sweden, who released their records on the Labrador label in the early 00's.
