Sheiks
The Sheiks were a portuguese band formed in 1963 by Paulo de Carvalho (drums and vocals), Fernando Chaby (guitar), Carlos Mendes (vocals, guitar and bass) and Jorge Barreto (guitar). Nicknamed the portuguese Beatles, they played the typical rock and roll of that time and of wich they were the percursors in Portugal. In 1964 Barreto leaves the band being replaced by Edmundo de Brito Silva (bass). Read more on Last.fm.
