There is two bands called Valo: 1)An amalgam of many styles, the band Valo is a guitar driven soul vibe with a sound transcending simple categorization. Based out of St. Louis the group excels in live performance, and believes that good solid songs are the foundation that everything has to be built from. Valo's history is based around 2 brothers, Jeff, and Chris Sabol, who have been performing music together for over fifteen years. Older brother Chris started Jeff out on guitar before they were teenagers and within no time they were playing on stage, beginning with talent shows and moving up to playing in clubs before Jeff was old enough to drive. 2)A Finnish Christian band playing music with a touch of rock/pop. We prefer using big letters in our name. In Finnish: Historia: Bändi on perustettu vuoden 2008 loppupuolella ja on vuoden 2009 Hyde Park bändikisan voittaja bändi! Jäsenet: Marja Kangasluoma (laulu) Sanna Alanko (kitara) Jenna Lehtonen (rummut) Suvi Hietamäki (basso) Sanna Hautamaa/ Sanny (koskettimet) And in English: History: The band was formed in the end of 2008 when Sanna, Jenna, Suvi and Sanny decided to make their dream come true. In the first assembly Sanny played bass, Suvi was in vocals and an extra member was asked to play keyboards but she bid adieu to the band because she hadn't time for band. So Suvi took the bass and Sanny replaced the keyboard player. VALO made lots of gigs in 2009 and won Hyde Park- band competition on 12.12.2009....
